this is not remotely fitness related…

Normally I like to get dressed up for work, put in a little effort, a skirt, some heels. Today is not one of those days. It’s Hump Day. The Red Wings lost last night. We just elected an NDP majority government in Nova Scotia. I need some comfort to get me through the day.

Today is a day for flats, basic black pants, an OLD (years old) t-shirt and the softest gray cardigan. And a ponytail. I probably look like a bag lady but as far as I know, I don’t have any client meetings today. I think it’s also going to be an iTunes day because I don’t feel very chatty.

Tonight after work I’m going to attempt another long run-10Kish-on the treadmill. It’s gloomy and gray outside so it’s really weather dependent. If the weather gets better I’ll likely do a run outside. I don’t like being on the treadmill unless it’s rainy or very cold.

Yesterday was a good day food-wise and exercise-wise. 7K run, no crazy food splurges, pretty healthy day overall until the hockey game. Damn you, chips and dip. Peter ate most of the chips, but I wasn’t even hungry—there was zero need for the chips. I think I need to get into the routine of eating ONLY when I’m hungry and stopping before I’m gorged. I hate feeling full.
