i’m so bad at this!
I’m really horrible at tracking my food and workouts. This weekend, I ate pretty healthily. There were lots of meals out, but I didn’t gorge too much. I made a cake yesterday and stuck to one small slice. I had kickboxing Sunday and running Saturday and lots of walking around time in between, so I was quite active. I also stocked up on lots of healthy food—fruits and veggies and salad stuff—and found a recipe for a great lime vinaigrette that’s awesome for summery salads. Mix together equal parts lime juice and orange juice, a little squirt of honey, a pinch of salt and pepper, and some EVOO. Dee-lish. Sunday’s salad included baby spinach, cherry tomatoes, chopped watermelon, grilled chicken breast, avocado slices and a little feta. Yummers. Summer is good and bad for me…it’s hot, so you want to eat lighter meals, more salads, more produce; but you’re also more tempted to enjoy alcohol and ice cream!
